Current Web Analytics Vendors in India

with 12 comments

I was wondering how many Web Analytics Vendors actually have their shops open in India, so i quickly did a survey myself and here’s what i found :-)

1.) Unica India

Unica seems to be the first one to have a physical office in India, located at Pune

What they offer?

Apart from other Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) software suite, Unica in Inida offers Unica NetTracker® for Web Analytics – provides the critical information and insight to improve web site design, marketing program effectiveness and your customers’ experience. Available on-demand or on-premise, Unica NetTracker enables marketers to measure and optimize all areas of their online business including pay-per-click advertising, organic search, email campaigns, web site content and offers, as well as online response to offline marketing such as direct mail, print advertising and events.

2.) WebTrends

Web Trends does not have a branch/office in India, but has partnered with Metainfotech in Mumbai the finance capital of India. I could only find one in the webtrends site but iam assuming there might be other partners too.

In a recent development Metainfotech bagged webtrends contract from Infosys for their intranet sites , The Indian Leading IT Firm has 25 web servers serving 50,000 employees all over the world. Their total Page Views will be approximately 5 billion. To begin with they have bought 500 million page view license, they will upgrade to 5 billion with the next two months.

Now that’s a big contract!!

3.) ClickTracks

ClickTracks does not host any office in India, but certainly is partnered with couple of firms in India. Although there may be more but what you see here is from their site. eDynamic in delhi, and Searchize in Mumbai, but both the site does not clearly communicate the advantages and benefits of using Web Analytics.

4.) Omniture:

Omniture recently opened their branch in India or rather in the setup process, and may be that’s the reason it is not listed in the site. I could not figure out if they are partnered with any consulting firms in India.

Disclaimer: The information you see out here is my own little survey(search, friends & network), but hey if you feel something’s wrong or do have updated information please feel free to add via comments.

Web Analytics Wednesday WAW Bangalore

with one comment

Web Analytics Wednesday (WAW) comes to Bangalore, the silicon city is all set to host WAW again, Although this is not the first time (last one happened way back in 2006), but this WAW is way too significant since India now has a WAA Country Manager and this will certainly help hold such events regularly in the future.

I had a great experience at Bangalore Barcamp5, which helped understand a bit of the emerging Web Analytics market in India, It would be intresting to see how WAA help evangelize Web Analytics in India WAW events are ofcourse the first steps.

The Web Analytics Wednesday events are the world’s only distributed networking event for web analytics professionals. Open to everyone, practitioners and vendors alike, Web Analytics Wednesday is a free event allowing you to meet others with similar professional interests

Web Analytics Webinar Event: Best practices from Leading Financial Institutions

without comments

Keynote Here’s an amazing event from American Marketing Association, if you are one of those working on financial websites or rather would like to learn more about best practices for lead generations specific to Financial websites and Converting Online Leads to Branch Bank Customers.

Date & Time: December 13, 2007 & 10:00 AM PST/ 12:00 PM CST/ 1:00 EST (23.30 IST)

Presenter: Chris Musto, General Manager, Financial Services, Keynote Systems, Inc.

Here’s the Agenda and Registration Details

Although we would all like to close the sale entirely online, there are many products and situations that really benefit from personal interaction. Completing the application or sales process in person at an agency or branch is not new. However, the method to get prospects in the door is primarily dependent on the Internet. Bridging the gap between gaining your prospects interest, motivating them to take action and actually getting them physically to your sales location is a tricky business.

Attend this webinar by Keynote Systems to:

  • Find out what users say about what drives them to complete the transaction offline
  • Learn what tactics are most memorable, actionable and specific to the transition from web site to sales office
  • View specific examples for measuring visitor perceptions to your site
